Misty Meadow's Heaven Can Wait "Hilda", new owner Tuija Ijäs, Finland

Hilda went to her new home as a loved pet. I was happy to recieve the following e-mail from the new owner (sorry, in finnish!!:)) "Hilda tykkää asua isossa eteisessämme lipaston alla, paikan se valitsi itse. Sillä on n.30 senttiä korkea "pesä", jossa on tikkipeitto ja pyyhe. Niitä se järjestelee huolellisesti kääriytyen itse väliin. Musta kuono tarkkailee koko ajan ja vähän väliä se tassuttaa katsomaan kuka tekee missäkin ja mitä tekee, ja voisiko siihen tulla "auttamaan". Tarkkaavainen ja utelias koira. Sylissä Hilda tykkää nukkua illalla tv:n katseluaikaan. Jo tiistaina Hilda oli iloisesti häntäänsä heiluttaen vastassa kun tulin töistä kotiin, se on ottanut minut "omaksi ihmisekseen", keikisteli edessäni rapsutuksia kerjäten. Selästä rapsutettaessa sen toinen takajalka alkaa vispata ilmassa ja häntä nousee kaarelle selän päälle. Hassun näköinen. Aivan ihana luonne sillä tosiaan on, ja haukkumattomuus on todella iso plussa kerrostaloasumisessa. Olemme kaikki kiintyneet Hildaan emmekä todellakaan pidä sitä riesana. Oma tietämättömyys tämän koiran tavoista ja kasat lattioilla säikäyttivät murehtimaan olisiko meillä aina huussi sisällä. Mutta kyllä Hildan kanssa lähtee wc-asiakin sujumaan, etsimme vain rauhalliset paikat retkeillä ja annamme aikaa. Rakkautta se saa runsain mitoin. "

Hello Tuula Greetings from Finland. Our little Missy has become a lovely little girl and she is now 11 months. I am very surprised how clever and obedient she is. She is very shy when I try to take photo of her and she likes to close her eyes as in this photo. It is not always easy to take a photo because she don´t like to be a photo model. The winter in Finland was too cold for her so she hiked inside my coat after she had done her important things first very quickly. Only her shiny eyes and little black nose peeped out. Now it is spring and the sun is shining and Missy is very interested in all those lovely smells outside. She is very interested in hare droppings too and she tries to eat them all. She has meny dog friends and I have noticed that big dogs are especially fond of Missy. We have a St. Bernard dog in the neighbourhood and she thinks that Missy is simply the best. Here in the photo is Missy together with Lilli, Missy´s big sister. The photos are taken 02.04.2000. Greetings Riitta
