Showing Your Dog in Russia by Ruslan Massar

Chihuahua is very popular in Russia .  Depending on a rank of an exhibition we can see from 10 up to 50 Chihuahuas

We have a lot of Allbreed Shows in Russia .

As usually, every year, we have about 24-27 International shows all over the Russia (CAC+CACIB). Also we have All Russian Shows (CAC) (about 140-150 per year), Regional Shows (CAC) (abour 390-400 per year), 5 National Chihuahua Shows (2 in Moscow , 2 in St-Petersburg, 1 in Samara).

The mail organization is  Russian Kinological Federation (RKF) has 4 federations –

1.The Russian Federation Service Dog breeding,

2.The Russian Federation the Hunting Dog breeding,

3.The Russian Federation of Dog's Lovers  ,

4. Association of the independent Kinological organizations of Russia

Also we have a National Chihuahua Club.

Classes on the shows

We have baby, puppy, open,  intermediate, open, champion and veteran classes on our shows.

Rules of reception of titles

Champion of Russia – 6 CAC from 6 different judges. Or Champion of another country + 1 Russian CAC.

Junior Russian Chamoion

4 times JCAC. Or Junior Champion of another country + 1 Russian JCAC.

Grand Champion of Russia

Champion of Russia + Champion of National Chihuahua Club

Champion of RKF

Dogs must have a diplomas of Champions of 3 different Federations

Champion of Federation

You must have 4 titles of the candidate in Champions of the Federation, received from three different judges.

Champion of Russian National Chihuahua Club

Best male and best bitch on National show has “Club Champion Title”. Or you must have 3 times “The candidate in Champions of Club”.

 Long coat and smooth coat has different rings and doesn’t compares. But can be mated among themselves.

It is very a pity, but we do not count up in Russia , glasses received by dogs at exhibitions. We have no the information who is the Top smooth coat or Long coat dog of the year. We also have no information who is Top Stud Dog, puppy, junior and so on.
